Our Promise

Creating a place where everyone can enjoy meaningful experiences with animals and nature.

At Ings Park Alpacas, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy meaningful experiences with animals, nature and the countryside, regardless of age, ability or background. Accessibility and inclusivity are at the heart of everything we do and continue to shape the way we develop our experiences.

Inclusivity

At Ings Park Alpacas, we are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone can enjoy meaningful experiences with our animals. Our farm has been designed with accessibility in mind, with step-free access throughout our main visitor areas to help guests with mobility needs feel comfortable and confident during their visit.

We understand that every person is unique, with different needs, abilities and comfort levels. That’s why we offer flexible and personalised experiences, including private sessions for individuals, schools, charities, community groups and corporate organisations. We work closely with each group to adapt activities wherever possible, ensuring everyone can take part in a way that feels right for them.

Our award-winning Goat Yoga experience is a great example of how we create adaptable experiences. Guests can take part seated on a chair, join from a yoga mat, or simply enjoy spending time with the goats at their own pace. The experience is about connection, wellbeing, laughter and creating happy memories, not about physical ability or flexibility.

We also believe that the benefits of animal interaction should be available to those who may not be able to visit the farm. Through our outreach programme, we bring our animals into care homes, assisted living facilities and community settings, creating opportunities for connection, conversation and joy while helping to reduce loneliness and support wellbeing.

Accessibility also means making experiences available to as many people as possible. Through events such as our annual Alpaca Fest, we provide affordable opportunities for families and visitors to enjoy time with animals and experience the magic of the farm.

Our mission is simple: to create a place where everyone feels welcome, valued and included, a place where people can connect with animals, nature and each other while creating memories to treasure.

Regenerative Tourism

At Ings Park Alpacas, we believe tourism should create a positive impact, not only for our visitors, but also for our environment, our local community and future generations. Regenerative tourism is at the heart of everything we do, ensuring that every visit contributes to something meaningful beyond a memorable day out.

We are passionate about finding creative ways to reduce waste, reuse resources and work in harmony with nature. As part of our commitment to a circular approach, the insulation in our newly renovated Zen Den has been created using wool from our own alpacas, transforming a natural resource from our animals into a sustainable, energy-efficient space for yoga, wellbeing sessions, community gatherings and celebrations.

We also work closely with our local community to give unwanted items a new purpose. Each year, we collect unwanted Christmas trees from local residents in partnership with Newport Young Farmers, providing our goats and other animals with natural enrichment and a valuable source of winter nutrition. After Halloween, we invite the community to donate unwanted pumpkins, helping to reduce food waste while giving our animals a healthy seasonal treat. Even the manure produced on our farm is put to good use, being recycled and sold to local gardeners and allotment holders as a natural fertiliser to support sustainable growing.

Supporting local businesses and strengthening our community is also a key part of our mission. Our annual Alpaca Fest welcomes thousands of visitors and provides a platform for local traders, food producers, artisans and community groups to showcase their talents. We encourage our visitors to explore the wider East Yorkshire area, supporting local accommodation providers, cafés, pubs and attractions so that the benefits of tourism extend far beyond our farm gates.

Through caring for our animals, protecting our environment, reducing waste, supporting biodiversity and building strong local partnerships, we are proud to show how rural tourism can be a force for good. Our aim is to create experiences that leave our visitors with wonderful memories, while leaving our environment and community stronger for the future.
